David Young is a producer, singer, guitarist, writer, and sound healer who has recorded more than 70 albums with world-class musicians including Tony Levin, Gregg Bissonette, Sean Hurley, Jerry Marotta, Tony Franklin, Ricky Peterson, Matt Fink, Carmine Appice and Frankie Moreno, and has generated 25+ million streams and downloads worldwide.
David began in the early 1980s upstate New York club scene playing in his college band with Joey Belladonna, later becoming part of the Los Angeles blues-rock world, including a power trio with Matt Abts (Gov’t Mule) and Lou Castro (Albert Lee).
He is the creator of the Soul Sessions television series and the author of four books and three original musicals. Internationally recognized for his work in sound healing and for playing two Renaissance flutes simultaneously, his music is known for creating deep, transformational listening experiences.
