Pilot Bob
The Pilot Bob channel is all about aviation. Pilot Bob Dallas (aka Robert D'alessio) is not an actual pilot but he is however, a huge aviation fan.
His passion for airplanes goes back to his teen years when he became fascinated with flying after the DC-10 operated by American Airlines assigned to flight 191 crashed on May 25, 1979.
On July 16 of that year, he boarded an Alitalia DC-10 aircraft to go visit family in Italy. The plane he was flying in suddenly dropped 1,000 metres after hitting a massive air pocket. He and the rest of the passengers on board were overtaken by fear and were sure that their fate was sealed. He became increasingly intrigued with the whole concept of flying after this incident.
Since then, he has become extremely knowledgeable in the world of aviation. "Passenger safety always comes first".
