Freedom is a dangerous thing.....isn't it?

On all corners of the globe there are among us, people who live in a wide variety of different countries, speaking a wide variety of different languages, and engaging in a wide variety of different cultures, customs, traditions, values, and practices. And under all of these differences, lies a human being. What would it be like to meet those human beings? To see their way of life? To hear their stories? To understand who they are? Or maybe to not understand? Not every journey into the unknown has a good ending. Alas maybe we should then manifest, of our own freedom and volition to do so, the desire to pursue these journeys....and that's quite the dangerous proposition, isn't it? Because if we don't make it dangerous to have freedom, others will make it dangerous not to have it.
