My partner and I purchased N8086E back in 2008. She’s a 1980 model Piper Archer II. We’ve kept her flying high ever since averaging about 70-100 hours per year. We added the 496 panel mount in 2010 and the stratus for the ADSB mandate in 2019 but everything else is pretty much original to us. We’re steam gauge guys and do quite a bit of IFR flying. “Little e” has a Strikefinder, Piper altimatic autopilot w/ gpss steering and standby vacuum system. Buying and flying my own aircraft has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Ride along as I post clips of her in action.
