So, I know I had a whole ass poll about how much of Pokemon I'll do, but honestly, after some further researching into FireRed and after the main game, I'm not feeling it.
I think the main thing that took the wind from my sails is that you NEED to do the stuff on One Island to get the final few Pokemon. Specifically one of the legendary birds. And I really wanted to make the final legendary Pokemon their own video in capturing them before even setting foot on the post-game areas. Is it a good reason? Not really, but it's mine.
So instead of more Pokemon FireRed, for the times being, after the main game, I'm going to do a playthrough of Dragon Ruins II. I've been looking forward to it and so much more my thing in terms of the fantasy theme.
Sorry to those that were looking forward to more FireRed, but my heart just would not have been in it.

Kingmaker. The bad idea is Kingmaker.
EDIT: Mind you all, IF I were to do a Kingmaker playthrough (I may have kinda already plotted out any mods and starting build idea), I'd probably make each video roughly an hour long just so it's not gonna be 4+ months long of uploading one game. Which can be the death of a series. Especially when it comes to personal interest in a game.
Also, it'd be like 95% blind. Just thought I'd make that last bit very clear.

Making an executive decision to swap around a couple playthroughs when they start. Thanks to one person's generosity, I'm going to push back what was going to be the Sacred: Gold playthrough after Lies of P and replace it with Grime II.
I WAS going to push Sacred back till after Shadowrun SNES Reboot, but I remembered I made a promise to Re-Play Eye of the Beholder GBA should I hit the Ko-fi goal. So uh... guess I'll be doing that too, then! What ever ends next, I'll slot Sacred back in there.

So I have ideas and plans and things for the future playthroughs I'm gonna do, some of them already started and uploaded. Seems Grime II is going to be started the 16th of May and I got a couple long forms planned.
Now, out of sheer curiosity cause I'm not sure how sick of Pokemon people are, but how interested in doing the Pokemon FireRed post-game? I've been pretty lukewarm to the idea of it, leaning towards "Meh" but part of me is willing to do at LEAST One Island just to complete the PokeDex (Cause of COURSE they moved one of the birds to post game...)

I really should stop making these kinda posts at the dead of night.

Finding a job has been rough: 3 jobs I've interviewed for haven't contacted me and I've no clue if any of the 10+ I've applied for this morning alone will even get back to me.
So money is super tight this month. As such I'm putting this out there: If my Ko-fi goal is met by the end of the month, I'll replay GBA Eye of the Beholder.
Although, based on a LOT of comments that appear on the first videos of the Eye of the Beholder playthrough from 8 years ago, that's a donation deterrent, but I stand by I'll go through the suffering again.

Had one of those moments where I realized my brain is still very coded into Cyberpunk. Not enough that I use "choom" and "preem", but when looking through games I could play for the channel, my brain thought "I could do one of the GBA Pokemons. I still got the shard around here..."
I thought that. In my head. Instead of thinking "cart" I thought "shard.

I've been teetering on buying the Lies of P DLC, but I don't think it's in the cards any time soon. On the one hand, I wanna continue playing the game and having fun with it. On the other, money is REALLY tight and the two jobs I interviewed for didn't call back and I was hinging getting the DLC if I got either of them. So, I'll probably just continue to the end of the game and if I can get the DLC before the final area (without breaking my bank account), then I'll play through Overture. Otherwise, I'll finish the game and pick up the DLC at another point.
And before anyone throws money at me and yells "Get the DLC!!" I have to put rent/bills first until I get a financially stable job before I go buying more games/DLCs for the channel.
I mean, unless you wanna do one of those "Make Darius Play A Game" things at the same time. Then I'd be down.

EDIT: Funny sidenote, but I find it hilarious that the thumbnail for the video with Victor's boss fight is nearly one for one the same as my previous playthrough.

Hmmm. Do I spend the 30 dollars on the Lies of P: Overture DLC? I'd kinda like to go through it before I beat the game, as I'm not USUALLLY one to go back through for DLCs after I've beaten a game.
Especially on NG+ difficulty. Learned that lesson with Elden Ring.
