A Firm Handshake is an indie, folk, pop band comprised of three life-long friends, Zach Sobiech, Sammy Brown, and Reed Redmond. They write songs. They play music. Sometimes they make a video.

Since Zach's death on May 20, 2013, Sammy and Reed have continued to write and perform, sometimes together, sometimes with other friends.
