Sailing Aurora
Our channel will show you our journey moving from a 20ft power boat to our new 40ft Hanse 418 (Aurora). It’s a dream come true, but everything happened a lot faster than we planned, so now we will have to learn fast as we are picking up our new boat and sailing it back from Greifswald, Germany in April. Our sailing adventures will start in the Stockholm Archipelago where the boat will be based at Gåshaga, Lidingö. On the channel we will both be sharing our experiences, the process of buying a production sailing boat, all the different choices we have made, sailing experiences and great places to visit in the Stockholm Archipelago - Skärgården.
Our long term plan is to start sailing around the world, but first we need a little experience, preparation and planning before we can. That’s the sailing liveaboard dream for us on Aurora.
