From self-released singles to tenures at City of Angels & Warner Music, Mephisto Odyssey has pushed the boundaries blending house, electronica, goth & rock music. Often tinged with darker undertones, the band earned a revered spot in music history.
Crowning achievements Include remixing Jane's Addiction’s “So What!” under the alias Deep Red, cowriting "Crash" with Wayne Static of Static-X and a feature in the cult horror film Hostel with their song "Some Kinda Freak." Showcasing their affinity for gothic and industrial rock, has solidified their unique sound!
After a hiatus since 2008 founding member Mikael Johnston is reigniting Mephisto Odyssey beginning with a reimagined single release of their seminal hit, "Crash" on Warner Music in 2025.
