💜 Community Update – From My Heart to Yours 💜
Over the past four months, I’ve been on a journey of recovery following heart surgery. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been filled with reflection, gratitude, and strength I didn’t even know I had.
As we enter this holiday season, I want to wish each and every one of you a healthy, peaceful, and happy holiday. Your support, encouragement, kind words, and continued presence here on My Story Living With Lupus have meant more to me than I can ever put into words. You’ve reminded me that I’m never walking this journey alone.
Thank you for standing by me, for believing in this space, and for being part of this community that uplifts, educates, and empowers one another. 💜
I’m taking this time to fully heal — and I promise you, I’ll be back stronger than ever in 2026. Until then, know how deeply grateful I am for each and every one of you.
With love, strength, and gratitude,
Susan 💜

My Story Living with Lupus
There are those who may complain about not having the perfect pair of shoes — but remember, there is someone out there with no feet to place a shoe on. You’re Blessed.
Some may complain about the house they live in — but remember, there are many who have no roof over their head. You’re Blessed.
Others may wake up grumbling that they have nothing to wear — yet, if you look in their closet, it’s filled with clothes. Meanwhile, there are those lying in funeral homes being dressed for the very last time — and they haven’t uttered a single complaint.
There’s a child somewhere putting on clothes with holes in them, yet they still smile.
There’s a homeless individual who doesn’t have a closet to open or choices to make.
You’re Blessed.
So, if you were favored to wake up this morning and didn’t complain about what you don’t have — believe me, you are truly Blessed.
Let this message sink into your spirit, and every time you feel tempted to complain, I pray you remember just how Blessed you are.

Holding onto your faith while dealing with a chronic illness can be both a challenge and a source of strength. In moments of pain and uncertainty, faith can provide hope, resilience, and a sense of purpose. It reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles and that there is a greater plan beyond our suffering. Whether through prayer, meditation, or leaning on a supportive faith community, staying connected to your beliefs can bring comfort and inner peace. While the journey may be difficult, faith can serve as an anchor, helping you navigate each day with courage and grace. Keep believing, keep hoping, and know that your strength is inspiring to others.
