Media Dictionary Initiative is community based media where volunteers from India and other parts of the world contribute videos related to media and society to help people to understand media in better manner and practice media literacy in their day today life as media influence all of us directly or indirectly. This initiative encourage volunteers to make videos in their own languages and dialects so that masses connect easily and can understand complexity of media i.e., political economy of media, philosophy of media, media ownership, media representation, process of content creation, dynamics of media, need for alternative media and community media etc in easiest way with local examples.
