De ce iubim?

Dragostea lui Dumnezeu lucrează mereu, chiar și atunci când nu o vedem sau nu o înțelegem. E greu de crezut uneori de ce Dumnezeu ar iubi o lume plină de imperfecțiuni.

În Geneza 1:26-27, Biblia ne spune că suntem creați după chipul lui Dumnezeu, ceea ce nu ține de aspectul fizic, ci de modul în care trăim. Ca fii ai Lui, suntem chemați să avem grijă de lume și de tot ce este în ea.

Cel mai important lucru pe care trebuie să-l facem este să împărtășim dragostea lui Isus. El ne arată cum să iubim prin cele două porunci: să-L iubim pe Dumnezeu și să ne iubim aproapele ca pe noi înșine.

Când nu ascultăm de Dumnezeu, ne rănim pe noi și pe ceilalți, creații valoroase făcute după chipul Său. 1 Ioan 4:8 spune: „Cine nu iubește, nu L-a cunoscut pe Dumnezeu, pentru că Dumnezeu este dragoste.”

Dragostea înseamnă să urmezi exemplul lui Isus, tratând pe toți cu respect și grijă. Reflectă azi la cele două porunci. Cum le aplici în viața ta și ce ai putea schimba?

Mă rog ca ochii inimii voastre să se deschidă pentru a înțelege tot mai profund acest har minunat prin care suntem eliberați de această lume care zace în păcat.
