The Breath & the Clay is a creative arts community, based in North Carolina, exploring the intersections of art, faith and culture. The community was founded by Stephen and Sarah Roach in 2014 with a small group of like-minded artists, poets and musicians.

The Breath & the Clay has since become a leading advocate in the realms of art and spiritual practice. Its thriving community of creatives worldwide hosts annual events, retreats and the Makers & Mystics podcast.
