... Jesus Christ, I can't catch a break these days, can I? Well, I've got some...news that'll ring very different notes for a lot of people. Yesterday, former Vice President Dick Cheney passed away at the age of 84 from complications with pneumonia and heart disease. Cheney served as the 46th Vice President of the United States during George W. Bush's presidency from 2001 to 2009, and was the main architect of the War on Terror, particularly the Iraq War. He previously served as Secretary of Defense and as Wyoming's at-large Representative in Congress. I didn't agree with him on much, particularly his excuses for starting the Iraq War, but I'd still like to extend my condolences to his family; Richard lived a full life, and though it may not have been filled with the best actions, we must still bear some respect for our fellow man, as, in the religious community's words, we are all God's children. I'd also like to repeat what I said about Charlie Kirk's death; celebrating anybody's death, no matter how bad he or she may have been, is not okay in the slightest. I made it clear when Charlie died, and I'm making it clear now. Please maintain at least SOME human decency when you talk about people you disagree with, even if you despised everything they stood for. So, I'd like to be among those to send Vice President Cheney's family my regards and hopefully maintain the last bit of human decency this nation may have left.
Yo. It's Memmers again. ...Ah, geez. Didn't think I'd be posting here again so soon, let alone, you know, with this tone, but...this needs to be addressed. Today, Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel dropped its first two episodes. Some semblance of good news for the indie animation folks, given how popualr Viv has been lately, but...that's not why I'm posting here. Rather...I'm here to address the bad news. As a lot of you, especially in the SMG4 community may know already...we are now officially approaching the end of an era. I've been watching Luke Lerdwichagul's videos for over a decade, far longer than I've had this channel, and they've helped me when I've needed it most. When the stresses of life as a neurodivergent individual become too much, he's the one I would turn to. Which is why the news today hit me hard. Today, October 29, 2025, Luke announced that he was ending the SMG4 series. He felt that he had accomplished everything he wanted to do, but...wanted to give the series a proper ending. So, on December 27, 2025, the series finale will air on YouTube. Every video preceding it will be all focused on one final story arc, focusing on 4 spending time with everyone and ultimately going on the last adventure they want to do. Obviously, this has taken a big toll on us, but...I, like many others, understand the reasons. He started the channel when he was 11. Now he's 26, reaching 27 in May, and he co-founded one of the animation industry's rising stars, Glitch Productions. Since then, the main channel has had a drop in views, but the company has been on the rise. Plus...I also see the parallels with MatPat's retirement 2 years ago. He has other things he'd like to do with life, and it's very likely his focus from the finale on will be primarily on Glitch. So...I just want to say one thing. Feelings that are too complex to truly grasp...but I think the last words of an old friend sum it up perfectly. Luke...
Hey, everyone. Memmers here. Before I get into this, I'd like to address that tomorrow is 9/11's 24th anniversary. I wasn't around then, but I believe the generations before all remember where they were that day. How it changed our world. How it shocked the nation. How it lives in infamy to this day, like Pearl Harbor before it. I'd like you all to remember those who died that day, and to never forget the sacrifice made by United 93. And now, onto this post's topic.
Look, uh...it's no secret the MAGA base and I are not beer-drinking buddies. For sure. I mean, no duh, I'm from Utah.
But...in case some of you aren't aware... Charlie Kirk, he's, uh... he's gone. Earlier today, he died. He was assassinated while at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem. And this comes a month after a shooting in my hometown of Tremonton that killed Lee Sorensen and Eric Estrada. A shocking moment for our state...just like this is for our nation.
I never really agreed with him or any MAGA Republican, and I'm saying this as a Republican myself. But this sort of violence should never be condoned in this country. It wasn't okay with J6. It wasn't okay with Trump last year, and it isn't okay now. I'd like to join President Trump and many other public figures by asking you to leave Charlie's family in your thoughts and prayers tonight, and to keep them as we proceed with 9/11 processions tomorrow.
On that topic, I'd like to address all the hate comments I've seen, claiming Charlie deserved what was coming and even celebrating the assassination. Let me make it clear: political violence, be it on the left or the right, does not belong in this country, and should not be condoned or supported in any way, shape, or form. People like that are why this country has devolved into what it is now. And it needs to stop.
That's all for now. Everyone... make sure to try to have a good night.
Look, I've been observing the situation with Roblox for a while now, ever since the whole Teddy fiasco...and I simply can not ignore it anymore. I'd been considering this decision for a long while... but after seeing how Schlep has been treated, I can not in good conscience delay this any longer. As such...
I will be LEAVING Roblox until further notice. I will not stand by and watch as a game I used to enjoy is actively defending PEDOPHILES. And David? Suck my ass. Hope Louisiana wins the lawsuit, you illegal piece of shit.
Well, look at that. I managed to recover from the pneumonia itself faster than I thought. However...while I was suffering from pneumonia, during one of my coughing fits, I may have tweaked my intercostal muscles on the left side of my ribs. So there's ANOTHER thing to recover from.
Well, folks...as it turns out, I'm not just sick. I have early stage pneumonia. Caught it early, and I'm taking it very seriously, so I could make a recovery by the end of next week. Either way...PRAY FOR ME.
Sorry I haven't been active much; school's been killing me, and just recently, I've gotten the most sick I've been all year. But, I can now officially say...the title for the sixth Monsterverse film is Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
