Yo. It's Memmers again. ...Ah, geez. Didn't think I'd be posting here again so soon, let alone, you know, with this tone, but...this needs to be addressed. Today, Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel dropped its first two episodes. Some semblance of good news for the indie animation folks, given how popualr Viv has been lately, but...that's not why I'm posting here. Rather...I'm here to address the bad news. As a lot of you, especially in the SMG4 community may know already...we are now officially approaching the end of an era. I've been watching Luke Lerdwichagul's videos for over a decade, far longer than I've had this channel, and they've helped me when I've needed it most. When the stresses of life as a neurodivergent individual become too much, he's the one I would turn to. Which is why the news today hit me hard. Today, October 29, 2025, Luke announced that he was ending the SMG4 series. He felt that he had accomplished everything he wanted to do, but...wanted to give the series a proper ending. So, on December 27, 2025, the series finale will air on YouTube. Every video preceding it will be all focused on one final story arc, focusing on 4 spending time with everyone and ultimately going on the last adventure they want to do. Obviously, this has taken a big toll on us, but...I, like many others, understand the reasons. He started the channel when he was 11. Now he's 26, reaching 27 in May, and he co-founded one of the animation industry's rising stars, Glitch Productions. Since then, the main channel has had a drop in views, but the company has been on the rise. Plus...I also see the parallels with MatPat's retirement 2 years ago. He has other things he'd like to do with life, and it's very likely his focus from the finale on will be primarily on Glitch. So...I just want to say one thing. Feelings that are too complex to truly grasp...but I think the last words of an old friend sum it up perfectly. Luke...
