In the early 2010s, Carl Borkholder, the visionary behind GEN-Y HITCH, found himself grappling with a recurring frustration. As the owner of a commercial tree care service, Carl's days were filled with the relentless task of switching out hitches to match the myriad of trailers and varying heights required for each job. Each hitch change meant lost time, disrupted schedules, and a growing list of special arrangements just to keep his team moving smoothly.
One crisp morning in 2011, after another tedious hitch swap left Carl exasperated, an idea ignited in his mind. "What if there was a hitch that could adapt to any trailer, regardless of its height or connection type?" This question began what would become a revolutionary leap in the towing industry.
