Originally from Chicago, lead singer Jordie Rose moved to LA to finish her degree in film and voiceover, but just two months later, the entertainment industry came to a standstill when COVID hit. To fill the silence, Jordie picked up a guitar and transformed her gift for vivid, poetic storytelling into songwriting — and thus Catching Cupid was born. With every show, this alternative rock band brings that same raw honesty to life; loud, heartfelt, and unapologetic. Their first album “From The Dead” is set to release in September 2025, touching on themes of rebirth, resilience, and the beauty of starting over.
