My name is Gift Mahende, stage name (geeh leven). I am a musician and entrepreneur, I was born in the village of Iringa, from East Africa (Tanzania). My talent was discovered by my late grandfather after starting primary school, my grandfather was famous for playing traditional drums (hehe tribe). our dances were very popular, because we were selling local alcohol so the customers liked it a lot, coming to buy alcohol to enjoy the music, my late grandfather liked my talent and bought me my original drum made of python skin. it was as small as my age, I was playing, they were very interested in my playing and my abilities. when I reached the stage of graduating ordinary level, (mjimpya sec school Morogoro ) art teacher awarded me a certificate for the best entertainer of the year, a certificate that made me angry now I fight for my talent, which I believe is the talent that makes me happy, after losing a lot including losing my family (mother , father) at a young age.
