NICU Parent
I gave birth to identical twins at 23 weeks gestation. Our identical twin boys were born weigh weighing 1lb6oz and 1lb5oz. The twins were considered micro preemies and started their NICU journey and we braced ourselves for the road ahead. God pressed on my heart to document their story in hopes that other mamas with NICU babys will be encourage and feel less alone in their own NICU journey. I also wanted to share how one family handles the ups and downs and craziness that is the NICU journey and how we find joy in the midst of it all. I wanted to shine a light on what this looks like for our family and it is important to note that every family is different.
On the surface my site provides resources, guidance, and support for parents of micro preemie babies. What we really do is ensure that someone is always there to spot the miracles when you can't see them -- and open your heart to the new hope that awaits you every day.
