Metroland Cultures
Metroland Cultures is an arts charity that works in, and for, the London Borough of Brent. Our mission is to build, share and support art and culture in the borough. We work with the communities around us, to amplify their stories of life here. And we support artists to tell new ones. We support local artists and develop young people to be part of the creative industries. We collaborate with local communities and we also run the Brent Biennial - a visual arts festival that takes place across the borough every 2 years.
MC grew out of the year long programme for London Borough of Culture in Brent, 2020. It was a collective endeavour – not just presented for the people of Brent, but created with their support. To help deliver it, we launched Metroland Cultures, a new charity platforming voices of people across Brent through arts and culture.
