Greetings, and welcome to the Sunset Archon channel! Where we aspire to game from night to first light!
It's here I'll be posting videos and streaming gameplay for various games, primarily Genshin Impact, Paper Mario, Pokémon, Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, and Mega Man Battle Network. If you have any questions or recommendations, feel free to leave a comment on my videos.
It's officially been one year since I actively started streaming on my channel! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts as we head into the future.

Seeing this scrapped concept for an adventure-style Kirby game on Gamecube gave me an idea.
If Nintendo really wanted to sell NSO Expansion Pack subscriptions, they could make a section for each past console where you can play beta demos of games that were never released, letting you rate the experience after playing. If it gets enough good feedback, it can be slated to be redeveloped into a full game.
A revival of game ideas conceived back in the golden era. It not only provides use with nostalgia and a long desired experience, but allows new developers within companies to experience code that laid the foundation for what they currently work with.
Kirby on Gamecube. The E3 Paper Mario Sticker Star demo, should NSO DS and 3DS be released. There are many possibilities for this. What do you think?

Kirby Air Riders is officially OUT!
For those of you still deciding whether to get the game, I have a few pieces of information gleamed from setting it up.
The game card comes with Version 1.0.0 of the game and can run on Switch 2 systems with firmware Version 20.5.0 or later.
A software update is required for local communications and likely online play. If you're just planning on playing solo, this isn't much of a deal breaker.
If you do plan to download the Day One patch to enable online play, you must update your Switch 2 firmware to at least Version 21.0.0. Yeah, base game works on 20.5.0, but all bets are off with patches. This last part is important since Version 21.0.0 has reportedly stopped third party docks from working.

Hello everyone!
After 4 hours, 25 minutes yesterday, I managed to successfully download Hollow Knight: Silksong! I couldn't help but laugh at how much downloading this game was bottlenecked by everyone buying it this weekend. I didn't even mind the waiting.
I'll be streaming the game in the next hour, so stop by if you're interested. It'll be my first time playing a Hollow Knight game, so I make no promises on how I'll do.

Hello everyone! Would you watch a stream just to listen to me rant about a topic for the first 10-15 minutes?
In the last few gaming streams I've done there have been a few mild rants, but have they really interested you?
In the next game stream, I plan on talking about my thoughts on the Silksong launch, and my suspicions regarding the Windows 11 update that's allegedly been causing SSD failures for weeks. So if you don't stop by for the game, at least stop by for the rant if the topic means something to you.
To rant or not to rant? That is the question.

If you watch my stream from yesterday, you'll see how I go over how YouTube interprets "building sufficient channel history" for accounts on the platform with respect to the newly implemented AI age verification.
According to YouTube's own email correspondence, "building sufficient channel history" can take around two years. So I don't believe changing your video viewing habits (i.e. watching more mature content) over the last 2-3 weeks will outweigh your last 2 years of channel history, whether you have a new or old account. Whether people will stay around long enough to build two years of channel history for this new system has yet to be seen.
In my opinion, the "engaged viewer" and "profanity policy" changes were introduced as a means to prevent users from gaming this system before its complete rollout. Nothing is given without advantage to the giver.
