⚔️ Welcome to The Black Banner ⚔️
This channel explores the layers of history etched into the land — from medieval England to the violence of the Civil War and beyond.
Through ruined churches, shattered tombs, forgotten figures, and silent landscapes, The Black Banner uncovers what time has damaged and what still remains.
These are not just stories of kings and battles, but of belief, destruction, memory, and the lives of those who came before us
All films are created by Andy Lunn in a cinematic, atmospheric style — grounded in real locations and real history.
🔎 Expect:
• Medieval England, knights, and tombs
• The English Civil War and its lasting scars
• Historic churches, abbeys, and cathedrals
• Forgotten people, lost stories, and damaged monuments
• The darker side of England’s past — destruction, loss, and memory
If you’ve ever stood in an ancient place and felt something you couldn’t explain — you’re in the right place.
