I was born in a remote Siberian village in Russia and spent every summer with Grandfather and Grandmother. Golden wheat fields, birch groves and sunsets over the river left a deep imprint on my soul.
Until now, my memories take me back to my happy childhood, memories of birch sap, swimming in the warm water of the local river, grandmother's stories about her childhood during the war .... During such stories, my grandmother sang sad songs and knitted .. She knitted a lot and very beautifully. Socks, mittens, shawls, hats, tablecloths and bedspreads. Then no one called it a Hobby, it was a necessity due to a shortage or very high prices. Then, as a child, I learned to knit, crochet became my special love 💗
