AGAIN?! LEGO's website is doing yet another 2x Insiders points event with a neat gift with purchase set to hopefully entice people into some last minute shopping.

BrickLink Update:

Steven Lee, Head of BrickLink shared an update in regards to the closure of the platform in 35 countries announced a few weeks ago. And for those who don't know, BrickLink is an online marketplace and community for buying and selling LEGO parts and sets from individual sellers worldwide, an incredibly important resource for the entire LEGO community.

While acknowledging the community feedback, we can at least praise the extension of the closing period by the BrickLink team, BUT, nothing will change still, and though a lot was said in the statement, the main question still remains. Why?

It definitely hurt when it was said that "closures will affect a small percentage of BrickLink's global activity" and while numbers wise that could possibly be true, there's a few countries in that list where the population is definitely not a small percentage at a global scale.

Again, I can only express sympathy for the affected users in that dreaded 35 country list, whether these are buyers or sellers, but especially sellers whose livelihoods may depend on the platform for a living.

As a content creator that heavy relies on Youtube and social media for a living, trying to picture a world where suddenly that was no longer a viable option to support my family makes me really anxious, and crushed knowing than in 3 months time this will be a reality for some of you out there.

I took your concerns into the LEGO Ambassador Network and I'm sorry that this statement was the only thing me and others who did the same could get out of this.

Hey! Did you ask for a LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy?! It's here!

Really interesting and unexpected collaboration to say the least, and looking at the specs underneath, it's actually a really good deal when it comes to parts per piece ratio which aligns well with the fact that LEGO usually pours every resource available for new partnerships.

I watch the World Cup every 4 years with interest as Portugal always qualifies (usually) so this tied in with next years edition of the event will for sure try and capitalise on that!

This is the last day of Black Friday deals on LEGO's website and with Cyber Monday just a few hours away, Amazon US has jumped the gun in that regard!

Amidst all of the LEGO Black Friday spamming (sorry about that, but I have a family to feed 🫣) shocking news come from the Bricklink LEGO side of things...

For those who don't know, BrickLink is an online marketplace and community for buying and selling LEGO parts and sets from individual sellers worldwide, an incredibly important resource for the entire LEGO community.

The shocking news is that the Bricklink team decided to cancel operations on 35 countries starting December 12th meaning that people will not be able to buy or sell in those countries?! (www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1531488)

Not really sure what's going on and no further comments were given about the subject, but if there's interest from the community, and further developments come to light, I'll be sure to share more about it.

With LEGO's Black Friday on full swing, AMAZON has its own deals going on, with some very cool things in the mix (for the US at least) with the Jazz Club, Pac Man Arcade and the Cruella car! I have not made a review on it yet, but that build is GOOD.

The waiting times for the Enterprise were quite something! I think I was waiting in line for like 10 min...

And it now seems to be on backorder for most of the world! But trying to add it to my cart now still adds the Type 15 Shuttlepod?! That's interesting that they have more of the GWP than the actual set? 😂

Or later down the line it will be "removed" from people's purchases due to some "mistake"... 🫣 Good luck y'all!

Amongst the dozens of discounted products there are some hidden gems in there! The Lighthouse for that price is absolutely worth it and the Viking Village that already was a great deal at retail price even more so with the 30% off.

Checking in the German Store, the Enterprise is not available even though it's past midnight?! Wonder what's up with that... Maybe it's waiting for the UK and Portugal to hit midnight as well? We'll know soon enough!

So the LEGO Insiders weekend is in full swing and some of the discounts and deals were finally revealed! Apparently the Lion Knights Castle is gone for good... 🥲

You'll need to check locally as the offers differ but it seems to be pretty similar overall. Australia is left with pretty much nothing which I was shocked to see!

AND there's some sets with 4x points... I wonder why? 👀 👀

A bunch of GWP sets can be earned with qualifying orders, so, as you all probably know this is one of the best times of the year to buy from LEGO directly. I do wonder what will we get to see for Black Friday in just a week besides the official release of the Enterprise...
