Today I took the kids to watch the new Gabby’s Dollhouse movie and I had to bring the characters from the new sets along for the ride!

Kinda cool to see where the sets took inspiration from.

Definitely not my favourite kind of movie, BUT, the kids really enjoyed it, as they do the sets, which were kindly sent to me by LEGO! Or in this particular case, were really sent for my kids 👀

LEGO Recognized Fan Media Days were GOATED!

It’s one of my favourite events to attend during the year, and this year being the 10th edition made it even more special!

As opposed to previous years where I had to pay travelling and accommodation expenses out of my own pocket, this year LAN has arranged for accommodation in Hotel Legoland and partially covered travel costs which was awesome!

Not only that, getting to be together with some of my favourite people both in the content creator space, but also getting to be with old friends and colleagues from my time at LEGO is the best!

And of course the new product reveals! But that’s something for another time… 👀

Can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Currently in Billund for LEGO Fan Media Days getting to see a ton of things coming up in the horizon!

The LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory set is now available for purchase all around the world (bit.ly/3VgCMHQ) and while I have failed to make a video review yet as there is a lot on my plate at the moment, this one being even "nicher" than the minerals or Gizmo has me scratching my head.

I guess that's the point of the Ideas theme, going incredibly broad, so you can't possibly love it all!

I know of the story and movie it's based upon but I have never seen it, just clips, so the source material isn't close to me making me a bit indifferent towards this particular release. And while the price it retails for will always be a point of discussion, on the bright side there was a surprising amount of printed elements, some new pieces, and the working chocolate waterfall was a really nice gimmick to put together!

What's everyone's thoughts about this one?
Does it mean a lot to you or is it way too niche of a release?

Early release on the 12th for Insiders.

Putting this on your basket will automatically award you two free gift with purchase items, Captain Jack Sparrow's Compass and the Sega Genesis Controller, while supplies last.

Those may make the full retail price to be easier to swallow... But one thing I gotta praise though, this was one of the best builds of the entire year! Not as good as the Gameboy, but second best for sure, so if you do end up getting it you'll be in for a treat.

I bet nobody saw this coming right?! 👀 👀

The first $1000 dollar LEGO set is here, the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star, packing over 9000 pieces, 38 minifigures and is a display piece that combines most of the scenes that took place on the location you'll surely recognise.

I'm really not into LEGO Star Wars these days and the most excited I've been about a new release from the theme, has been the Christmas AT AT, and this one! Unpopular opinion perhaps, but I honestly think it's kinda cool.

I will not be reviewing this one anytime soon so yeah, I'll just watch from the sidelines for now and see what you all have to say about it!

With September upon us, there's still a few days for the releases of LEGO Ideas Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory Arkham Asylum, and, the highlight of the month for most fans I'd assume, the LEGO Black Pear.... I mean, Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship if you're not too bothered about the insane retail price.

With that said, there's still a lot of September 1st releases. Harry Potter with the Back to Hogwarts event goes live with the Hogsmeade Village and the Room of Requirements GWP I reviewed a few days ago, Nike, Wicked, Advent Calendars and a SpiderMan Collectible minifigure series, my favourite though has got to be the Wall-E and Eve set I will most definitely pick up for review sooner or later!

But even with all of this ahead of us, the Gameboy will steal the spotlight coming October and is looking like the best LEGO set that we will get to see for the entire year. I don't believe LEGO will outdo themselves with this one for the next couple months... or years...
