AGAIN?! LEGO's website is doing yet another 2x Insiders points event with a neat gift with purchase set to hopefully entice people into some last minute shopping.
The promotion will last from 12/10 to 12/14 and if you wanna get the LEGO Celebration Series: Gingerbread Train Ornament set you'll need to spend US$75 | €75 | £70 | AU$120 to qualify for it.
Not too sure if people have recovered from the Insiders Weekend, Black Friday and Cyber Monday ordeal but there you have it.
Maybe a good time to get some of those retiring soon sets or check whatever's left on sale for the best bang for your buck! And now that I'm looking deeper into it, a lot of January releases can be pre-ordered already and adding them to your basket will also award you the gift with purchase train!
If I'm too flooded with work to wish you all Merry Christmas, this is it everyone! Hope you have a fantastic time with family and loved ones in the coming weeks with some bricks under the tree hopefully! 🙌
Steven Lee, Head of BrickLink shared an update in regards to the closure of the platform in 35 countries announced a few weeks ago. And for those who don't know, BrickLink is an online marketplace and community for buying and selling LEGO parts and sets from individual sellers worldwide, an incredibly important resource for the entire LEGO community.
While acknowledging the community feedback, we can at least praise the extension of the closing period by the BrickLink team, BUT, nothing will change still, and though a lot was said in the statement, the main question still remains. Why?
It definitely hurt when it was said that "closures will affect a small percentage of BrickLink's global activity" and while numbers wise that could possibly be true, there's a few countries in that list where the population is definitely not a small percentage at a global scale.
Again, I can only express sympathy for the affected users in that dreaded 35 country list, whether these are buyers or sellers, but especially sellers whose livelihoods may depend on the platform for a living.
As a content creator that heavy relies on Youtube and social media for a living, trying to picture a world where suddenly that was no longer a viable option to support my family makes me really anxious, and crushed knowing than in 3 months time this will be a reality for some of you out there.
I took your concerns into the LEGO Ambassador Network and I'm sorry that this statement was the only thing me and others who did the same could get out of this.
Here's your first look at this year's Modular Building!
LEGO inadvertently leaked it in its own site, on the product page of the Gift With Purchase set that is likely to be offered alongside it, the Vintage Parade Car.
Hey! Did you ask for a LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy?! It's here!
Really interesting and unexpected collaboration to say the least, and looking at the specs underneath, it's actually a really good deal when it comes to parts per piece ratio which aligns well with the fact that LEGO usually pours every resource available for new partnerships.
I watch the World Cup every 4 years with interest as Portugal always qualifies (usually) so this tied in with next years edition of the event will for sure try and capitalise on that!
Let's just see how well it does. Portugal of course, but the trophy set too! 👀
LEGO® Editions FIFA World Cup™ Official Trophy set · Age: 12+ · Price: $199.99 / £159.99 / €179.99 · Pieces: 2842 · Product No.: 43020 · Dimensions: Measures over 14.5 in. (36 cm) tall · Available for pre-order now and for purchase starting 1st March 2026.
This is the last day of Black Friday deals on LEGO's website and with Cyber Monday just a few hours away, Amazon US has jumped the gun in that regard!
A lot of deals feel the same when compared to the Black Friday ones but there's some interesting new ones!
Boutique Hotel, one of the best modulars ever is up for grabs at 30% off, the 10 Speed Champions value pack too and some others like the heavily discounted Blacktron Renegade at almost 50% off, I wonder why... 👀
The Enterprise is on Back Order pretty much all over the world and adding it to your cart no longer adds the Type 15 Shuttle Pod Gift With Purchase set.
With the sales pitch out of the way I do wanna say that with December right around the corner be ready for a TON of videos on the channel for upcoming 2026 releases...
I'm hard at work to make it all in time, you literally won't believe the amount of work I have on my hands, but with the incoming DAILY uploads, sometimes 2x a day, you'll quickly realise how "bad" it's been.
Super exiting times not gonna lie, but I can't wait for January to come around so I can finally rest some... 💀💀
Appreciate all the support, whether trough your purchases through my affiliate links, or keeping an eye out for the new videos, it means a lot! 🥹
Amidst all of the LEGO Black Friday spamming (sorry about that, but I have a family to feed 🫣) shocking news come from the Bricklink LEGO side of things...
For those who don't know, BrickLink is an online marketplace and community for buying and selling LEGO parts and sets from individual sellers worldwide, an incredibly important resource for the entire LEGO community.
The shocking news is that the Bricklink team decided to cancel operations on 35 countries starting December 12th meaning that people will not be able to buy or sell in those countries?! (www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1531488)
These are the affected countries:
Indonesia Turkey South Africa Taiwan Ukraine Brazil Serbia United Arab Emirates Kazakhstan Peru Israel India Morocco Chile Vietnam Georgia Lebanon Saudi Arabia Qatar Oman El Salvador Bahrain Azerbaijan Armenia Pakistan Egypt Moldova Ecuador Argentina Costa Rica Colombia Bosnia and Herzegovina Turkmenistan Greenland San Marino
For regular buyers I'm assuming that purchases from overseas can still be made, which isn't ideal due to shipping costs and maybe customs fees, but not the end of the world.
But for people who were running businesses off of Bricklink in the affected countries no amount of words will be enough to support them, this must have been an incredible blow to them, not the kind of Christmas present anyone expected under the tree...
Not really sure what's going on and no further comments were given about the subject, but if there's interest from the community, and further developments come to light, I'll be sure to share more about it.
With LEGO's Black Friday on full swing, AMAZON has its own deals going on, with some very cool things in the mix (for the US at least) with the Jazz Club, Pac Man Arcade and the Cruella car! I have not made a review on it yet, but that build is GOOD.
How's your experience been with LEGO Black Friday?!
The waiting times for the Enterprise were quite something! I think I was waiting in line for like 10 min...
And it now seems to be on backorder for most of the world! But trying to add it to my cart now still adds the Type 15 Shuttlepod?! That's interesting that they have more of the GWP than the actual set? 😂
Or later down the line it will be "removed" from people's purchases due to some "mistake"... 🫣 Good luck y'all!
Amongst the dozens of discounted products there are some hidden gems in there! The Lighthouse for that price is absolutely worth it and the Viking Village that already was a great deal at retail price even more so with the 30% off.
Checking in the German Store, the Enterprise is not available even though it's past midnight?! Wonder what's up with that... Maybe it's waiting for the UK and Portugal to hit midnight as well? We'll know soon enough!
Depending on where you are in the world, when midnight comes, it's LEGO Black Friday which amongst many things marks the official release of the Enterprise!
Getting it will make you eligible to a stack of gift with purchase sets: the Type 15-Shuttlepod with the exclusive Ro Laren minifigure being the highlight of course, and then the Hot Chocolate Stand and the Mini Knights Castle too, while supplies last.
There's new redeemable Insiders Points rewards too though the one thing that got me really curious was the trade in of 200 points, so you get 1000 in return.
Looking at Australia's deals, and assuming that will be the case for the rest of the world we can expect to see sales prices on select sets between 30%-50%. Sadly it seems that our mates across the world always get the short end of the LEGO Sales Stick so hopefully EU and US will get to see something better on their sales pages when the time comes.
Using any of the links above for your purchases will support the channel's operations for which I'll be incredibly thankful for, just be sure to leave cookies on! Happy shopping!
So the LEGO Insiders weekend is in full swing and some of the discounts and deals were finally revealed! Apparently the Lion Knights Castle is gone for good... 🥲
You'll need to check locally as the offers differ but it seems to be pretty similar overall. Australia is left with pretty much nothing which I was shocked to see!
AND there's some sets with 4x points... I wonder why? 👀 👀
A bunch of GWP sets can be earned with qualifying orders, so, as you all probably know this is one of the best times of the year to buy from LEGO directly. I do wonder what will we get to see for Black Friday in just a week besides the official release of the Enterprise...
Using any of these links for your purchases will support the channel tremendously, just be sure to leave cookies on! It will be appreciated 🙌
