Timothy Hill Children's Ranch (THCR) is a residential facility that has been working since 1980 to transform the lives of troubled boys ages 13-21 who come from abusive and neglected backgrounds. Our ranch-style campus and family-like atmosphere serve as a safe haven for the boys to deal with their feelings of hurt and abandonment. In order to strengthen character, residents receive five main areas of treatment: Clinical, Recreational, Educational, Vocational, and Spiritual Direction. Residents take part in individual as well as family counseling in addition to drug and alcohol abstinence programs. To support residents' educational success, THCR provides daily tutoring in all subjects and encourages involvement in school sports and extracurricular activities. Through the various activities they partake in, the boys discover virtues such as courage, responsibility, creativity and enthusiasm for life. They also discover an inner strength that most young men do not realize they have.
