"Creative Destruction" is a concept in economics and finance that refers to the destruction brought about by new ideas. Simply put, creativity brings about new ideas, but new ideas put old ones out. For example, the development of the iPod has made the Walkman and Discman obsolete. In finance, a debt for equity swap can improve a firm's cost of capital, yet at the same time, lower its credit rating.
This channel is named "Creative Destruction" as I would use it as a portal to recreate existing pop music for orchestra. I will be generating new music out of what currently exists, turning them obsolete. In a way, I will be soliciting creative destruction.
