Gold Revere
Gold Revere, a hip-hop/R&B group made up of Akash Gururaja and Ian Crumley, started in 2017 as an experimental summer project. Recorded on a rock band mic in Ian's basement, their debut EP Volume One was released a couple months later. Combining their classical training in piano, violin, & vocal with their love for hip-hop/R&B, Gold Revere has created a unique sound. They also pull from a variety of music genres including EDM, Pop, Indian Classical, and Jazz for songwriting and production. Gold Revere's discography now includes a variety of fan favorites including Memories, Goldfish Crackers, Alibi, and their most recent Lavender EP. Ian and Akash are both currently juniors at Iowa State University and Vanderbilt University respectively. They plan on continuing to make music and collaborate with artists to create music that inspires.
