Only after rejecting the notion that rising inequality is natural and inescapable can we focus on reversing the forces that delivers an economy that works for the few and leaves the rest behind. The truth is, we can have the economy that we choose. We could have a human centered economy that values people over profits and growth.
My name is James and I believe that if we chose to, we could live in a world where everyone is financially secure, no one is hungry and no one is homeless. I am an advocate for Universal Basic Income (UBI) or some sort of universal dividend. Everyone should be expected to contribute to society, but in my opinion doesn't mean having a traditional job.
