For many years when my children were young, I played in sing along pubs three/four nights each week, including holidays, Christmas and the New Year. It's now many years since I played in public.
I discovered You Tube after my son told me that there were some very good Pianists featured there. On my first visit to You Tube I saw a vid. of Charlie Kunz playing a Grand Piano in his dress suit. I decided to try to post my own video in the his style. I was lucky that my vid was second in line to the only video on You Tube of Charlie playing "live". My father had many 78 records of Charlie, the record sleeves were made from plain paper or card, no glossy pictures of the stars in those days and so I had never seen his image before seeing it on You Tube.
My first awful short video, with my wife at the camera, probably received many views by default, because of its position on the page and the association "Charlie Kunz Style", however, it did get me started.
