Tinkerer, out-of-the-box thinker, inventor and entrepreneur, Christopher Moore has been involved in Clean Energy research since the late 1990's. For most of his early years he did open source work on his OUPower.com website, sharing everything he was working on openly with the world.
In 2017 Chris shifted gears and began the process of patenting his wind turbine technology. He founded Harmony Turbines Inc in August 2020 continuing the previous R&D work and patent filings.
In June 2022, Chris's wife, Cheryl, joined him full-time at Harmony Turbines in an effort to help towards the final push through prototyping and producing test and beta units.
At Harmony Turbines, we believe in transparency in our efforts, successes and struggles, therefore our project updates are honest, sometimes silly and sometimes raw. We hope you will continue following our journey as we make our way through development and testing and eventually into production.

šāBest wishesā to Vik and āWelcomeā to Sree Vidya! š
As many of you likely remember, Vik joined our team a few months ago as one of our two Electronics Engineers. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, he has unfortunately not been able to continue his work with us here at Harmony Turbines. We are thankful for the time that Vik was here with us, we appreciate the work he did and the jovial spirit he brought to the team. Thank you, Vik, you will be missed. Best wishes in your next endeavors! š
As luck (or the Universe) will have it, we were able to connect with and hire another electronics engineer in short order. š»Sree Vidya Jagatap is an innovative Electronics Engineer with a strong academic foundation and has practical industry experience. In her most recent position, she contributed to the development of advanced electronic systems, ensuring they met high standards of performance and reliability. Her work involved problem-solving, optimizing designs, and collaborating closely with teams to bring creative ideas into functional, real-world solutions. Beyond her professional role, she has a passion for travel, enjoys discovering new experiences, and keeps herself engaged with the latest trends in technology and engineering advancements.
šWe welcome Sree Vidya, Electronics Engineer, as the newest addition to our team. We are excited about the milestones our electronics team will continue working towards as we move forward with our goal of bringing Harmony Turbines to market as quickly as possible. šØāļø

We donāt often āgo down rabbit holesā but when one presents itself with a 10, 20, or even possibly 40% improvement in performance, we stop and take a look. And thatās what our team is doing with our SAF (Simplified Axial Flux) generator design here at Harmony Turbines.
Recently we had reason to get down to āfirst principlesā with electromotive force experimentation, simplified power generation models and generator coil configuration analysis. Thereās a fairly robust body of information on the fringes of what we were looking for. Examples include how power is created, electron spin, left hand & right hand rules etc. But there is surprisingly little information available about optimizing these processes for the highest efficiency possible with a given system. That topic appears to be largely ignored.
Perhaps companies have kept this specific information as ātrade secretsā over the years to protect their IP and investments? Perhaps they simply went into production not fully understanding the best ways to optimize their systems? At any rate, weāre taking a few weeks to stop, research, learn, create and test. This is because what weāve discovered over the past 2 weeks is that our SAF generator can function at a significantly higher performance level. Keep in mind that our SAF generator was already very good. It beat out every other generator that we tested for use with our turbines.
Weāre really excited about this discovery and will be putting together a video soon with as much information as we feel we can release. There might even be a new patent in the mix, so we apologize if we canāt share everything right away. But whether or not there will be a new patent is secondary to the fact that it appears we have found a way to make another significant improvement to our SAF generatorās performance! And thatās definitely worth āwriting home about!ā
Please be on the lookout for an upcoming video release about our SIGNIFICANT efficiency increase with our SAF generator design

Happy Wednesday, Harmony community! We've been busy these past few days doing a number of different things. We placed the first MKII unit onto its stand; the unit in these pictures is the TEST unit that will be sent to Bucknell University for performance evaluation.
This week we've also had the opportunity for an educational session with another Lego League team, the Lego Maskers! This was a fun time with an engaged group of students who wanted to discuss our wind turbines as well as their own wind turbine experimentation!
Additionally we took some time away from the machines to focus on the human side of Harmony. We've had several interviews for our administrative position and hope to conclude that process in short order. Our new admin will be assisting Harmony Turbines by taking much of the clerical load so that Cheryl and I can get back to focusing on the turbine build.
Speaking of which, we have begun machining the smaller more intricate parts that will hold the furling mechanism in place below the turbine scoops. More pictures to come as we finish that buildout.
Once again, thank you for believing in us and for following our journey. We are so glad you are here with us!
Our Crowdfunding Campaign is LIVE on StartEngine Click HERE to become part owner for as little as $200! www.startengine.com/harmony-turbines
Until next time,

Hi Guys,
We're pushing as hard and as fast as we can. Today we machined the first of the CAM parts that our new team member Micah generated for us and it was a great day! -Busy but very good. Our first two MK II (Mark 2) scoop assemblies are coming together nicely and already teaching us things we want to improve in the MK III prototypes.
We expect to have several iterations (design changes) between now and the end of 2023 when we hope to start accepting our first orders from our early adopters ...AKA YOU! :) Please enjoy!
Thank you, for believing in us and supporting the work that we're doing to help our world!
