Happy Wednesday, Harmony community! We've been busy these past few days doing a number of different things. We placed the first MKII unit onto its stand; the unit in these pictures is the TEST unit that will be sent to Bucknell University for performance evaluation.
This week we've also had the opportunity for an educational session with another Lego League team, the Lego Maskers! This was a fun time with an engaged group of students who wanted to discuss our wind turbines as well as their own wind turbine experimentation!
Additionally we took some time away from the machines to focus on the human side of Harmony. We've had several interviews for our administrative position and hope to conclude that process in short order. Our new admin will be assisting Harmony Turbines by taking much of the clerical load so that Cheryl and I can get back to focusing on the turbine build.
Speaking of which, we have begun machining the smaller more intricate parts that will hold the furling mechanism in place below the turbine scoops. More pictures to come as we finish that buildout.
Once again, thank you for believing in us and for following our journey. We are so glad you are here with us!
