Enough Is Enough® is a national, non-partisan, non-profit organization who has led the fight to make the internet safer for children and families since 1994. EIE's efforts are focused on combating internet pornography, child sex abuse material, sexual predation, and cyberbullying by incorporating a four-pronged prevention strategy with shared responsibilities between the public, corporate America, the legal community and faith-based communities.
From Congress's first attempt to address the problem of Internet pornography and sexual predation of children in the Communications Decency Act of 1996 to the Children’s' Internet Protection Act of 2000 (CIPA), the Supreme Court's first landmark decision upholding Internet regulation requiring schools and libraries to filter Internet pornography from children, EIE has successfully demonstrated the need for federal legislation and industry to take corrective action to protect children and families from online dangers.
