PAPA JOHN STORYTIME

Hey everybody! My name is John Slayton aka JSLAY now more commonly known as Papa John the Batdad.

I read books and stories to my children and yours. I read titles by Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Maurice Sendak, and many more great authors and illustrators. I have always enjoyed reading and being read to as a child and so now I am proud to share this love with you too.

ALSO I’m grilling right out of Connecticut. I’ve been casually grilling on my Weber Genesis for just over 10 years, but the results have been serious business. I recently purchased a Weber Smokey mountain, the WSM, or Weber Bullet, which has taken my game to the next level.

I suppose I’m what you may call a Backyard BBQ Artist. A true meat enthusiast. I’ve spent years practicing, experimenting, creating BBQ masterpieces on the grill. I am still always learning and that’s part of what I love about grilling.
