I've been painting figure model kits since I was 8 years old, and that was hundreds of years ago. After that long, it's safe to say it's a passion of mine, and I want to start sharing that passion with a larger audience. For the last thirteen years I've been making short films showcasing these models. Some are short spotlights, some are time-lapse process videos, and some are what I call "ghost paintings" where I photograph the entire process in stop motion such that the paint just appears on the subject. Looking to try some new things on here, like show and tell videos and live-streaming so you can chill in my creepy boiler room while I work and ramble. Just think Bob Ross, but he's making a Frankenstein monster.
