Communities in crisis need information and empowerment. A project of Internews, FilmAid provides both to millions of people living in vulnerable situations and underserved communities. FilmAid programs develop skills to support the creation of multimedia content designed to inform, inspire, and empower.
FilmAid’s participatory, hands-on methodology enables communities to produce and disseminate their own stories. We believe communities are the source of wisdom and the center of empowerment. A community that speaks for itself is a community that can change and heal itself.
