The Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) is an independent state agency that administers Massachusetts General Law Chapter 55, the campaign finance law, and Chapter 55C, the limited public financing program for statewide candidates. OCPF is the depository for reports of contributions received and expenditures made by candidates and political committees.
OCPF receives and reviews reports filed by hundreds of candidates and committees to ensure compliance with the statute and regulations. The agency places an emphasis on education to assist candidates and stakeholders in navigating the campaign finance law through guides, YouTube videos, and memos posted to our website, online and in-person educational programs, and the availability of staff to provide guidance.
To learn more about the agency, please visit www.OCPF.us or give our team a call at (617) 979-8300.
