As a retired locksmith, the following are my personal opinions on security products:
Schlage, Kwikset, Sargent, and Yale locks should all be used on your own entrance doors. It will make lishi lock picking professionals and criminals have a much harder time lock picking any of these locks. The best way I know of to stop brute force entry is by using a good surveillance camera system. A good Kwikset electronic deadbolt lock or Medeco deadbolt lock will secure your home fast.
