Masis Aram Gözbek
Born in 1987, Istanbul. He won several awards with Boğaziçi Jazz Choir including two World Championships. He attended countless competitions, festivals and master classes in countries like USA, China, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary. He led workshops and performances with the world-renowned Dekoor Close Harmony and the Swiss Youth Choir. He won the Rectorship Award (YTU), The Most Successful Young Person of Turkey Award (TOYP), Young Conductor Special Award (35th International May Choir Competition Varna) and The Music Entrepreneur of the Year Award (METU). He was invited to 'EMJ Neerpelt' and International May Choir Competition Varna as a jury member and to 'EJCF Basel' as a guest conductor. He was one of the 12 finalists at the World Choral Conducting Competition, Hong Kong. He is the founder and the artistic director of Boğaziçi Jazz Choir, Boğaziçi Youth Choir and MAGMA Choirs and a trustee of Yücel Cultural Foundation since 2018.
