Welcome to the channel!
I make metal melting and metal casting videos, along with other creative DIY and foundry projects.
Most of my metal melting is done using a microwave metal melting setup, where I melt metals like aluminum, cast iron, bronze, and copper. Occasionally, I experiment with other metals too.
You'll also find tutorials on how to:
Melt metals in a microwave
Build your own microwave kiln
Burn out molds for metal casting
If you're into home foundry work, DIY metallurgy, or just curious about what a microwave can really do—subscribe and join the journey!

What should I cast for a “possible” Sunday video?
I’ve started a gazillion projects, but I’ve realized there’s no way I can finish any of them by tomorrow.
(For the record, I’m aiming to upload every Saturday—or every other Saturday—at 17:00 Madrid time.)
Since this week’s upload won’t happen on Saturday, I might as well take on a little challenge and try to publish an alternative video on Sunday evening if I can pull it off.
So, let me know what you’d like to see me cast in iron!
I’ll pick something from the list and try to make it a one-day project. Tomorrow when I wake up, I'll start working on something from comments 😊

Happy Halloween! I’m trying to better understand YouTube and why some videos get very few views. Maybe you can help me out!
Did you watch the last video about casting an iron skull?

In the last video (“I Made an 80% Bigger Microwave Kiln”), I built a large microwave kiln and cast a mysterious object I asked you to guess.
At the time, I didn’t even know what I was casting myself — it was a project I did for a viewer.
Now we know the answer.
Anthony told us he’s restoring a device called a “Kinora.”
The one he’s restoring is exactly like this one, but he was missing that bracket as well as the lens.
Here, you can see a YouTube Short of the same device he’s working on:

For those asking where I’ve been—don’t worry, I haven’t disappeared! Since my last public video on YouTube, I’ve shared four new videos on Patreon and the YouTube Members page. I want to make sure supporters there get some extra value, but I’ll also be posting more videos for everyone else soon. Thanks so much for sticking around!
In my latest video, I explore an alternative to the ceramic fiber blanket: the soluble fiber blanket.

I've published a Members/Patreon-only video about my first attempt at making an iron ingot mold. It's something I really needed, and I'm pleased that it worked! At some point in the future, I'll be making more molds and releasing a new video for everyone about the process.
Thank You!
