This is the Official YouTube Channel of Shankha Majumder. Shankha is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer and mixing engineer based in Kolkata, India. He is a rock heavy, metal, indie folk, blues and pop inspired musician. His inspirations are Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Bernth and Pink Floyd. His pop inspirations are Ed Sheeran and Charlie Puth, whose songs have inspired him to learn mixing and mastering. He took up guitar at the age of 9 and started singing at the age of 13. His first single 'Cherished Memories' embodies his perception of an ergonomic and worthwhile childhood which he reflects on with a comparison with the present. He is presently a student. He is assisted by his parents, his bloodlines and his biggest guides in all of the music that he makes. His mother and father are also the directors and editors of his first music video.
