I’m obsessed with the color & pattern combination of Jo’s quilted jacket! So pretty❤️😍
She made this beautiful project using my free pattern and video instruction here: https://youtu.be/_5hMOhRyu8o
Please send me your project photos so I can share with everyone for the inspiration!
Thank you so much for being a part of this sewing circle by watching, commenting, and sharing photos❣️
Update: I turned on the feature for my subscribers to post here. Now you can directly post your project photos so we can all admire them, or ask questions about your sewing project :)
You can still email me your photos via email if you prefer!

If your hat is too big, you can
1)put a strip of felt or batting between the sizing ribbon and hat inside
2)add elastic in the back of hat, or
3)sew a strip of felt inside the crown
If you’re confused about what I mean, you can watch my video here: https://youtu.be/Zr-Gg5ipAuk
I had some people telling me that their DIY hat came out a little big so I made a video about it:)
My Peaky Blinders Hat pattern at 100% scale is made to fit 24” head circumference, which is a large size. I made it that way so it’s easy to shrink/enlarge in printing, but if you print it at 100% and you have small/medium head, it might be a little big. I’m sorry if I wasn’t super clear about it in my hat tutorial!

I’m not a leather crafter but hand-stitched this real leather bag from a kit and it was so much fun❣️😆 I loved the bag so much I had to get a special charm for it too! This Ghibli themed leather key chain is from an etsy shop.
Their bag kits are not the cheapest, like any other quality things… If I tried to start leather crafts on my own and gather materials and tools separately, it would cost me much more. Their DIY kits come with all the necessary tools and QR code for a tutorial video. That’s why I wouldn’t miss this sale! This is a perfect way to try your hand at leather crafts, and whip up a special gift for a special someone for the holidays✨🎁
You can make this bag or so many other designs from Babylon Leather www.babylonleather.com/?sca_ref=6848271.r3QE4ATtgp
Their Black Friday sale is going on and all the DIY bag kits are 30% off. Use coupon code SACHIKO5 for extra 5% off + a vegetable tanned leather key chain gift (last photo)!
You can watch how I made this bag here: https://youtu.be/p_aNjvT0es4

DO YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR SEWING??
I'm thinking about making a Q&A video, NOT about me but about sewing in general! I'm not an expert or anything, but I've been sewing for 35 years and might be able to help someone ! Sewing in general, patternmaking, fit adjustment, etc...
If you can post a pic on Instagram or here (I don't know if that works. Please don't ask me tech questions.) with your question, that'll make it easier for me to understand your problem. And if I think I can help you, I will try! Please tag me @sachidonguri

The corrected pattern download is on my website! www.madebysachi.com/2021/09/27/super-simple-top/
The correction affects page 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, & 11. If you've already printed the pattern, you can replace these pages or shave 2.5" (6.5cm) underarm like in the photo.
I'm so sorry for wasting your time and resources like this. If you'd already made a top from the previous version of the pattern, you can still make these changes to it.

I'm working on a dress version of my base pattern (next video!) And I might have found a mistake on my base pattern download. I'm fixing it and hoping to upload the updated version later today. Please hold off on printing the pattern. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
