If your hat is too big, you can 1)put a strip of felt or batting between the sizing ribbon and hat inside 2)add elastic in the back of hat, or 3)sew a strip of felt inside the crown
I had some people telling me that their DIY hat came out a little big so I made a video about it:)
My Peaky Blinders Hat pattern at 100% scale is made to fit 24” head circumference, which is a large size. I made it that way so it’s easy to shrink/enlarge in printing, but if you print it at 100% and you have small/medium head, it might be a little big. I’m sorry if I wasn’t super clear about it in my hat tutorial!
