Originally founded in 1994 by Rick Reese, Christopher Hobler, and Ed DiMuzio, Sonic Joyride released four albums between 1995 and 2000 and built a reputation for melodic alternative rock, psychedelic energy, and fearless independent promotion — including rooftop “Cosmic Sled” bus concerts across the country.

After Christopher Hobler’s ALS diagnosis in 2001 and his passing in 2005, the songs took on even deeper meaning. Today, Sonic Joyride brings that music to the stage with heart, fire, and purpose — honoring Chris’s legacy by making the songs live loud.
