I retired the end of 2023 with the idea of starting a garden the following spring. Well, I realized that wasn’t going to work when I returned from a fabulous trip to a dead mint plant🤦🏾. With many trips on the horizon, I decided to hold off. I was embracing my new found freedom and saying yes to every opportunity to travel. I let people know not to invite me anywhere unless they meant it because my answer was more than likely going to be yes 😄.

My first year of retirement was amazing! As I moved into my second year, I wanted to stay closer to home. So, I decided it was a good time to start that garden. It has been such a rewarding and inspiring journey. There are so many lessons in The Garden. I believe I have been given so much. I am a believer that whom much is given, much is required. So I pray that my channel will inspire, educate, and uplift as I share my retirement journey and lessons from The Garden 🪴 . Please subscribe.
