I am a Lancashire Lass living near the sea in England, UK and have rediscovered my love of sewing recently. I am a campaigner for Peace, Social Justice, Care in our Communities, and Climate Awareness, although my posts on this channel are mostly sewing related. Occasionally I include memories of my mum who actively encouraged me to sew from an early age. I have a love of bright and vibrant fabrics, and try to support independent companies and other enthusiastic sewists as much as I can. I plan to share my sewing endeavours and experiences of using a variety of garment and crafting patterns and styles. People’s Wellbeing and Mental Health is of great concern to me, and encouraging others to explore enjoyable hobbies is one of my main motivators. I have been a professional trainer and love enthusing and entertaining an audience, and inspiring people to recognise and fulfil their own potential.
