Hey All, as you might have noticed, I have been away from uploading with the frequency that I have in the past, cutting back to once a month. The past few months have been especially busy and it was the best I could do. I have also been thinking about what I want to present here, what is going to be the most useful to you all, the viewers.
I have spent a good deal of time reading comments, looking at what works, and how each topic is presented and compared this to how I use these topics when in session in my private practice and now in a series of trainings I have been doing. I am going to be making some changes.
Instead of trying to post two to four videos a month, where the quality is hit or miss, I am going to focus now more on the formats that have gotten the most view time and most importantly, responses from you all. I have been working on cleaner, less flashy presentations, since most of you seem to like the more "raw" or authentic presentations. I will strive to create somewhere in the middle of these factors.
I would also like to make one higher quality video each month that ignores what is trendy, but instead focuses on what I see is WORKING in my practice and make clear, concise videos on these topics. Hopefully the algorithm will catch up with the work here. If not, I know that those I work with will at least have solid reference and support materials, since it is ultimately them that I initially intended this channel to be for.
Of course, if I do not work directly with you and you would like for me to address something, by all means, please send me a message and I will see what I can do!
Be on the look out for these types of changes starting this coming Monday with a Monday Morning Mindfulness exercise taken directly out of a workshop I had recently offered.
As always, wishing you all the best that life can offer,
Todd

Hey All! I was thinking of pulling a majority of the mindfulness videos off of this website. I want to keep some on here since they do relate to and support the other topics and skills on this website and move them over to their own channel. My thinking is that there are those who are here for the mindfulness skills and those who are here for other skills. That way you don't get bugged by me when I post one of the categories you are not all that interested in. What do you think? If you would just take the poll and you can of course, leave me a message below if you wanted to expand upon this idea of mine.

The 2-step process for exceptional results:
(1) Spend a little time each day thinking about the highest leverage activity available to you.
(2) Spend a little time each day working on it.
How would you add a mindfulness activity to your day? Were would be the least amount of resistance and would dovetail with something you already do? Set a reminder in your phone and add it, even if it is 30 seconds, it is still something.

Try doing one thing per day that compounds. It does not have to be big. Just consistent.

Mental Flexibility
Mental toughness is often portrayed as determination and persistence, but it would be more useful expand this concept more broadly to including flexibility and adaptability.
You can be open and aware anywhere.
You can work with what I have.
You can have a meaningful connection with anyone.
You are flexible when your actions are not dependent on your conditions.

Hey All, You may have noticed that I have not been posting as much lately. I am currently working on going through the large list of material here on the site, finding the ones that have been the most useful and popular and trying to weed out the ones that have not been. Turned out to be a larger project than anticipated. In the end thought, I believe this will make the content here stronger.
I am also changing up how I make videos and selecting content. I would rather publish 1 to 2 stronger videos than create 4-8 weaker videos, which ultimately contribute to me having to go back and clean up all the weaker stuff.
I am not stopping what I am doing here, but I am going to focus in and make sure that what I put on this site is more relevant, useful, and a better quality overall.
Wishing you all the best in this holiday season.

Some things are a job, others are a craft. The primary difference is not the task, but the enthusiasm and curiosity put into the task. The more engaged and interested you are, the more it becomes a craft.

Best and Worst
Think of the best coach, teacher, or leader you ever had. What can you learn from them?
Take a moment, write this down for more effect.
Think of the worst coach, teacher, or leader you ever had. What can you learn from them?
Again, Take a moment, write this down and look at the two.
In what ways is this information useful? It which ways do these influence who you are?
Wishing you the best,
Todd

Where Are You Focusing?
The generalist becomes more powerful when they develop a specialty where they can apply their broad insight.
The specialist becomes more powerful when they develop a broader surface area of knowledge to connect with their expertise.
Which side are you favoring right now?
Would you benefit from a broader area to apply your already honed skills?
Or do you need deeper skills to unlock your general knowledge?
Wishing you all the best...
Todd
