I'm basically a kid with a camera.

I started writing a poem called “The Dark Forest” about two years ago. Since then, I kept editing it, reworking, trying to turn it into a video but it always felt a little off. Too abstract and too specific at the same time.

The poem is about my view on camaraderie and friendship, how situations shape people, and how people shape situations. It’s about going through hard times with friends, and also enjoying the sunshine with those same friends.

This week, I finally decided to release it. Not because it’s perfect, or because I found the “right balance,” but because I realized I was chasing something that will always remain imperfect. Maybe that imperfection adds another layer to it, you will be the judge of this.

In a few days, it will be out on my YouTube channel and Spotify.

Hey all, I took a break from social media for a bit, sorry if I worried you.

It was much needed after a year of living abroad, as I was trying to find my place and some meaning.

It’s been a challenge to make space for creativity despite the increasing demands of my engineering career.

I want to explicitly say that I appreciate everyone who’s still hanging around my social media.

Thank you for being here, and a new poem is coming soon.

It was kinda a roller coaster year for me, alternating from lows to highs.
Ending my military duties, moving countries, and starting a master's at TU Delft.

Moving countries was a big reset for me, starting almost everything from scratch.
Life moves fast when everything is new, and looking back, it all feels oddly distant.

This channel somehow survived all the bumps on the road, and I’m genuinely glad I’ve kept sharing parts of my life and, in a way, parts of me here.

I'm always tough on myself, especially during birthdays, which often come disguised as times of reflection.

But lately, I’ve been working on changing my internal dialogue. To not just focus on what needs fixing, but also to acknowledge what I’ve done right.
And whatever we’re doing here is definitely one of the right things.

If you still find yourself following me on the internet after all of this, thank you.
Your presence means more than you probably know.

On that day

I got chased off a graveyard cause I was filming (apparently illegally)
I filmed a dirty cat making a statement that it's not afraid of me
and also filmed a homeless person in Thessaloniki while hiding their identity.

The last shot gave me an ethical dilemma, being an overthinker is a common occurrence...

I used to love this hobby because it gave me space to step back and think critically not only about art but also about responsibility.

Most decisions involve trade-offs, and this one was no different but that day, I decided that communicating my reality honestly mattered more than staying within predefined boundaries.

what do you think? to what extent can art break rules?
