Videos about video games for people who already know way too much about video games.

I also responded to the first YouTube comment when replies were re-enabled on September 15, 2016, and apparently, that's my lasting legacy on the world.

The Good news: My computer finally works again

The Bad news: The hard drive dragged A LOT of my files down with it--not all of them, but too many for me to not wanna curl up in a ball and die (all the red files are what's missing)

The Consolation news????: In 2016, I lost like a third of a video to my editor crashing. Ever since that day, I have religiously exported my projects. Any time I make significant progress on a video, I make a partially edited copy of it. As such, I know for a fact that most of my editing work is saved, albeit with some possible generational loss. This is actually something I did for my MUSHA video a few years back. The project crashed and corrupted at the 4:30 mark, but I exported everything the day prior, so I gladly took the somewhat degraded quality if it meant not remaking everything from scratch. I still don't know how tf I had the patience to make that video with an outdated computer using CyberLink PowerDirector 13. This should at least be less painful than that.

The thought that's currently making me wanna die is retrieving all the original sources again because it's the kind of ungodly tedium that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. It will get made though. I will finish this thing, but it will not be any time soon though. I'm gonna need a creative palette cleanser for a while.

Video is going to be delayed, much to the surprise of everyone ever I'm quite sure. My hard drive died a couple days ago, and after like 15 years of making videos I still made the rookie mistake of saving my root folder to the local drive. I'm still in the process of recovering all 1,400 files of it.

The good news is that I almost certainly won't need to start from scratch. The bad news is that my hard drive still hangs in the balance, and that tends to put a damper on video production. It will get done though. Nothing short of a lightning bolt will stop me from making my obligatory ~one video per year about a game only I care about.

worgken on a vido

4our minutez in

(I'll be about 27 minutes total, and I hope to have it out before the end of the year. I know I've only upheld a promise like that approximately zero times in the decade this channel has existed, but I'm currently unemployed and have nothing better to do while waiting to hear back from applications, so I've been pouring hours into this thing every day. I love having a useless Bachelor's Degree :3)

720 views in the first 12 hours is insane. Thank you very much for the warm reception. Pouring months of my life into a super obscure topic that I know will probably get demonetized for how much I swear is something that I only do for myself, so I try to temper my expectations about audience feedback. It's hard to even comprehend anyone beyond my immediate friend group caring about this.

I'm mostly just relieved the video doesn't suck because tbh I didn't know what to think of it anymore after the 500th time skimming it through for potential mistakes. I got very anxious about actually releasing it to the public. The dread that comes along with only having one video per year to impress random strangers really weighed on me in the past few days.

I'm hoping I'll get around to uploading once every few months again, but I know myself better than to make any promises. Last time I uploaded regularly was when I was in high school. Either way, expect something someday eventually maybe??????

Also thank you for 8 subscribers.

New video coming in a few weeks-ish(?????) It's about 30 minutes, and I've edited half of it.

Also, I don't really use social media anymore, so please be patient if you try to reach out to me for any reason. I no longer have internet access at home because shit's expensive af, and I'm a broke 20-something with a useless Bachelor's who could just as easily make videos from my local internet cafe. For the time being, real-life takes priority over keeping up-to-date with the latest and greatest Twitter beef.

Thank you for all the support on my latest video. My shit usually gets 50 views in the first few days, so nearly a thousand is insane.

New viewers should know that I'm still not making "a comeback" to YouTube though; I don't have time. I'm gonna spend the next few years working on my Master's degree and building a permanent life for myself. I might upload regularly once I've settled down in my mid 20s, but it'll always be a simple hobby. Real-life takes priority.

Idfk how "community posts" work because I'm like 90 years old in YouTube time, but if anyone can read this, I'm posting a video tomorrow UwU

I have no idea how/why I suddenly have community posts instead of a discussion tab, but okay.

RIP those two comments in my discussion from six years ago about Google Plus not letting people reply to my comments :((((
