Elena Frolova is a Russian singer, poet and composer. She writes songs based on the poetry of great Russian poets of the beginning and the end of the ХХ century: Marina Tsvetayeva, Anna Akhmatova. Osip Mandelshtam, Andrey Belyj, Mikhail Kuzmin, Joseph, Brodskiy, Veniamin Blazhennyj, Leonid Gubanov, and also based on her own poetry. Frolova uses a 6-string guitar as an accompaniment instrument. In 1996 she mastered gusli that contributed to her repertoire Russian spiritual verse and Russian folk songs.
