Dustin Muriel (born December 23, 1999), better known by his stage name DUSTY, is an American singer and songwriter who is best known for his unique emo, boom-bap and alternative style. He was born in Boca Raton, FL and grew up in Parkland. Later, he moved to Dallas, TX where he first started making music, which he himself described as being classic emo. Dustin now lives in Los Angeles, CA.
When he was growing up, Dustin mostly listened to 80’s and 90’s bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden and his all-time favorite band Radiohead, with “My Iron Lung” being one of his favorite songs.
LIL DUSTY G started making music as early as 2017, and even gave live shows that same year.
On December 30th, 2017, Dustin performed live on the WINTER WONDER FEST for the first time alongside RONEN and Yung Coop.
In late 2020, Dustin signed with Polar Culture, Marshmello’s record label, after Marshmello reached out to him on Instagram.
