Relaxation.space came about as a conversation between two close friends one night in London. Sitting around the kitchen table, both friends talked about their passion for music, its power over our moods, and the pressures of life in the big city - a place so far removed from from nature.
Both friends soon realised they often dealt with this anxiety in the same way – by shutting out the outside world, putting on relaxing music or sounds of nature, and either meditating or just enjoying the lovely ambience.
The more they spoke, the more they realised the true value of good quality, atmospheric music and nature recordings in creating an ambience conducive to working, studying, meditating, relaxing – and healing. Next morning, R&R Music Records was born - a music label focused on high quality, atmospheric relaxation music and nature sounds, and along with it relaxation.space - a platform to both showcase music and provide a safe space for mental wellness.
